Diana Laura Albornoz Sardiñas holds a B.S. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Havana (2022) and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Biological Sciences at the Autonomous University of Querétaro (Class of 2025). She has three years of experience as an R&D&I Specialist in the Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Group at the Center for Research and Development of Medicines (CIDEM, Cuba).
​She completed her Bachelor’s thesis at the Center of Molecular Immunology (CIM, Cuba) under the supervision of Dr. Tania Carmenate Portilla, with the research titled “Evaluation of the effect of human IL-6 on a panel of human cell lines of different origins”.
​Currently, she is developing the research project: “Evaluation of the effect of Phaseolus acutifolius lectin induced apoptosis on antitumor immunity in microsatellite stable colon cancer” under the supervision of Dr. Francisco Luján Méndez at the “Dr. Elhadi Yahia Kazuz” Instrumental Bioanalysis Laboratory and the Cell and Molecular Biology Laboratory.
