Xymena Vazquez Ricardez is a Microbiology student at the Autonomous University of Querétaro. Her elective coursework and advanced research interests have focused on the biological mechanisms of human health and diagnostic research in the medical and clinical fields.
Currently, Xymena is developing the research project “Effect of apoptosis induced by Phaseolus acutifolius lectins on antitumor immunity in colon cancer with microsatellite instability” under the direction and supervision of Dr. Francisco Luján Méndez at the “Dr. Elhadi Yahia Kazuz” Instrumental Bioanalysis Laboratory and the Cell and Molecular Biology Laboratory.
